This website is for the Veteran.  It is to help out ALL Veterans in finding out where to go for help, whether it be the VA, compensation help, trying to find a buddy, or anything that the vet may need to search for.  Veterans are typing in search after search, trying to look for what they need and and a lot of times not finding it.  We here at Vet's for Veteran's want to try and have anything that any Vet wants to find in one location.  The website will always be evolving to have the latest info for our brave Veterans.

WEBMASTER/USMC Veteran, SSgt, Desert Storm, (DAV), Co-Founder

Dave entered the Marines in August, 1984 after graduating High School.  After Boot Camp at Parris Island, SC, he reported to Infantry Training School at Camp Geiger, NC, and was trained as an 0331 Machine Gunner.  Following  school, he was cleared for a Secret Clearance, and  was stationed with Marine Security Forces.  After active duty he went in the Marine Reserves as a Machine Gunner with Weapons Co., 1st Bn, 25th Marines.  With the start of Desert Shield in 1990, his unit went to Saudi Arabia and was attached to the 1st Marine Division.  With the start of Desert Storm in 1991, his unit was part of the spearhead into Kuwait.  After returning from the war, Dave reenlisted and he transferred to 6th Motor Transport Co, 4th FSSG.  After completion of schooling in various military vehicles, he became the Training chief of the unit until he left the Corps because of medical problems stemming from the war.  He is currently a service connected disabled veteran.  Dave served a total of 14 years with the Marine Corps and was Honorably Discharged as a Staff Sergeant.

Tim

ARMY Veteran, SSG, Desert Storm, (DAV), Co-Founder

Tim entered the U.S. Army seven days after graduating High School in June 1988.  He completed Basic Training and Advanced Individual Combat Engineer Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.  After graduating, He reported to Fort Benning, Georgia for Airborne School. Following graduation, He was assigned to the 24th Infantry Division (Mechanized Rapid Deployment Force), A Company, 3rd Engineer Battalion at Fort Stewart, Georgia.  As with other units, he was deployed in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm.  Tim was promoted to Sergeant during this time.  His unit participated in the Spearhead ground attack of the 24th Infantry Division when the ground war began.  After his Honorable Discharge from active duty, he joined the U.S. Army Reserve for 4 years and changed his MOS to Infantryman (11B), and began serving with the 108th Training Division as a Drill Sergeant.  Tim was Honorably Discharged from the Reserves in 1995 at the rank of E-6 (Staff Sergeant).  Tim is a service connected disabled veteran, stemming from medical problems from the war.
